Bathroom Reveal

You're going to think I'm nuts after you see what I did to our bathroom.  I painted it lime green.  Yes, you read that right- lime green

Do you remember this from Que Linda's first day?

Well, I just couldn't leave that project alone and this is how it turned out.

The guy at Home Depot thought I was crazy when I told him what the lime color was for.  I kept thinking this could turn out very badly, but I still had to do it just to see how it would turn out.  Sometimes you just have to take risks when you're creating something, right?

After it's all said and done, I actually kind of like it... it's original, fun, and bright.

You've probably noticed, I'm really into flowers right now.

This is perhaps my favorite part, and it took less work than everything else.  I found these bottles at a thrift store.  I like how they contrast with the bold colors in the room.

I love the fabric on these squares.  Actually, I was going to buy a light blue and white fabric and at the last minute I decided to break out of my comfort zone.   I'm kind of glad I did.

My next big project will follow the current decorating trend a little more closely.  I'm planning to paint grey chevron lines in our bedroom.

Come see where I'm linking up.

  3. Good for you to follow your heart and what YOU love instead of the latest trend. I think it turned out beautifully...lime green and blue is one of my favorite color combos. I just painted my piano a light lime green.
